Dr. Jack Grennan graduated from Trinity College Dublin in 1992 with an honours degree in dental science. He moved to England the following year where he accumulated nine years worth of experience working in and running a variety of dental practices, mainly in London. He returned to Dublin in 2000 and set up his surgery in Dun Laoghaire.

Following a two year part time post-graduate degree in TCD, he secured his Diploma in Clinical Dentistry. He is a member of the Irish Dental Association and is very active in his pursuit of continuing dental education. He is always open to new ways to improve the care he can provide for his patients. He has worked in the Dun Laoghaire area for over 10 years.

Dental Practice Dun Laoghaire
Ann Grennan

Ann Grennan is our surgery manager and acts as the "front of house" of the practice. She is responsible for appointments and the general running of the practice.  With many years of experience in project management, particularly in the software industry, Ann brings a lot of  technology experience and organisational efficiencies to the business.

Ann organises the appointment book for all the dental treatments. A first dental visit will include a full dental examination, x-rays if needed and a detailed treatment plan along with time involved and cost.

Dental Nurse Dun Laoghaire
Sasha Hegarty

Sasha is our qualified dental nurse who has worked at the practice for over 8 years and is a familiar face to all our regular patients.  Having previously looked after reception and the appointments side of the practice in conjuction with her dental duties, Sasha is now dedicated to working full-time alongside Jack in the surgery.

Sasha helps Jack with all the preparations needed in the surgery - including fillings, crown preparations, bridge work, root canal treatments and much more.

New Patients

We are happy to accept all new patients to our practice. We encourage any new patient to book in for an initial consultation. At this visit, the dentist will undertake a thorough examination of the teeth, gums and surrounding tissues. A full screening for disease and infection will be carried out and any necessary X-rays taken. All findings will be discussed with the patient and if further treatment is required, a treatment plan will be drawn up and priced before scheduling a follow-up appointment.
